Article 1 — Scope
These terms of sale apply to any sale of Lectune credits concluded between SAS QR Développement (the “Seller”) and any natural person acting for non-professional purposes (the “Customer”), on the lectune.fr website or in the Lectune Android app. They supplement the terms of use.
The Customer accepts them by ticking, before any payment, the box provided for this purpose. The terms of sale applicable are those in force on the date of the order; they can be consulted at any time at lectune.fr/cgv.

Article 3 — Credits on offer
The Seller offers credit packs. One credit sets one book to music: either Lectune composes a new four-movement soundtrack or, if a soundtrack has already been composed for this book, the Customer accesses it identically, without a new composition. The Customer can then listen to this soundtrack without limit, within the Service (website and apps), for private use, for as long as their account exists.
Soundtracks are generated by artificial intelligence from the book's public metadata; their characteristics and conditions of use are described in the terms of use. Using credits requires an account with a verified e-mail address.
Article 4 — Prices
Current prices of the packs sold on the website:
| Pack | Price (incl. VAT) | Price per book |
|---|---|---|
| 10 credits | €2 | €0.20 |
| 30 credits | €5 | €0.17 |
Prices are stated in euros, including all taxes (VAT included). The Seller may change them at any time; the applicable price is the one displayed when the order is placed. In the Android app, prices are those displayed by Google Play at the time of purchase, in the currency of the Customer's Google Play account.
Article 5 — Ordering
On the website, from the “My account” page:
- the Customer, signed in with a verified e-mail address, chooses a pack;
- they tick the box by which they accept these terms of sale, request immediate delivery of the credits and expressly waive their right of withdrawal (see article 9);
- they are redirected to Stripe's secure payment page, where they check their order and its price;
- validating the payment constitutes a firm and final order.
In the Android app, the Customer likewise accepts the terms of sale, requests immediate delivery and waives their right of withdrawal, then confirms the purchase in the Google Play billing window.
The contract is concluded as soon as the payment is confirmed. The Seller then e-mails the Customer an order confirmation (content, price, reference, reminder of the waiver of the right of withdrawal and the Seller's identity), which is the confirmation of the contract on a durable medium. Purchased credits also appear in the account history (“My account” → “History”).
Article 6 — Payment
The price is payable in full, immediately, when ordering:
- on the website, through Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd, Ireland), by bank card or any other method offered on the payment page. Payment details are entered on Stripe's page: they do not pass through Lectune's servers and are never stored there;
- in the Android app, through the Google Play billing system, under Google's terms; purchases are managed on the Seller's behalf by RevenueCat.
Article 7 — Delivery of credits
Credits are added to the Customer's account immediately after the provider confirms the payment, usually within a few seconds. If the credits do not appear within a reasonable time, the Customer contacts contact@qr-developpement.fr.
Article 8 — Use and validity of credits
- Credits do not expire for as long as the account exists.
- Setting a book to music uses 1 credit; a book already unlocked or a free book uses none.
- If a composition fails for good, the credit used is returned automatically. Retrying a failed composition uses one credit, the one from the previous attempt having been returned.
- Credits are personal and non-transferable; they are not refundable in money, unless required by law.
- Deleting the account permanently forfeits any remaining credits, without refund.
- Credits offered (welcome credits, referrals, goodwill gestures) follow the same rules and have no monetary value; they are not sold and their price is not governed by these terms. As of these terms: 3 welcome credits once the e-mail address is verified, and3 credits for both the referred person and the referrer (conditions in the terms of use).
Article 9 — Right of withdrawal
A consumer Customer normally has fourteen days to withdraw from a distance contract (Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code). However, under Article L221-28, 13° of that code, this right cannot be exercised for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium whose performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent, the consumer having acknowledged that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal.
As credits are supplied immediately after payment, the Customer, by ticking the box provided before payment, expressly requests this immediate supply and expressly waives their right of withdrawal. This consent is restated on the payment page and kept with the order. Purchases made in the app may also benefit from Google Play's own refund rules.
Article 10 — Statutory guarantees
The Customer benefits from the statutory guarantee of conformity for digital content and services provided for in Articles L224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code. In the event of a lack of conformity, they may obtain that the content be brought into conformity or, failing that, a price reduction or termination of the contract, under the conditions laid down in those articles. In particular, the Seller may offer a new composition free of charge or return the credit concerned.
The artistic and automatically generated nature of the soundtracks, described in the terms of use, is part of their characteristics: an aesthetic preference does not in itself constitute a lack of conformity.
Article 11 — Customer service and complaints
For any question or complaint about an order, the Customer writes to contact@qr-developpement.fr, stating their account e-mail address and, if possible, the date and amount of the purchase. The Seller replies as quickly as possible.
Article 12 — Liability
The Seller's liability is governed by article 11 of the terms of use, without prejudice to the rights a consumer Customer derives from mandatory legal provisions.
Article 13 — Personal data
The data needed for the order is processed in accordance with the privacy policy.
Article 14 — Governing law, mediation and disputes
Before any legal action, the customer is invited to contact customer service at contact@qr-developpement.fr to seek an amicable solution.
In accordance with Articles L611-1 et seq. and L612-1 of the French Consumer Code, if no amicable solution is found, a consumer customer may refer the dispute free of charge to a consumer mediator, within one year of their written complaint to us. The contact details of the consumer mediator on which QR Développement depends are provided on request at contact@qr-developpement.fr.
These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable solution, any dispute shall be brought before the competent French courts; a consumer customer may bring proceedings before the court of their place of residence at the time the contract was concluded or of the place where the event causing the damage occurred, and retains the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.
Article 15 — Changes to these terms
The Seller may amend these terms of sale at any time. The terms applicable to an order are those in force on its date; changes do not apply to orders already placed.
