1. How to delete your account

You can delete your account at any time, free of charge, in three ways:

In the Android app

  1. Open the Account tab, then Settings.
  2. Tap Delete my account.
  3. Confirm with your password (an account created with Google without a password confirms with a checkbox).

On the website

  1. Sign in, then open My account.
  2. At the bottom of the page, choose Delete my account.
  3. Confirm with your password (an account created with Google without a password confirms with a checkbox).

By e-mail

If you can no longer sign in, write to contact@qr-developpement.frfrom your account's e-mail address, asking for your account to be deleted. The request is handled within 30 days at most; we may ask you to confirm your identity.

Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.

2. What is deleted

Deletion is immediate and permanent. The following are erased:

  • your account: e-mail address, password, Google link, language, referral code;
  • your remaining credits, forfeited and not refunded;
  • your library and your access to the books you had unlocked;
  • your credit history;
  • your sessions: you are signed out of all your devices.

The soundtracks composed remain available in Lectune's catalogue, with no remaining link to your account: they contain no personal data.

3. What is kept, and why

  • Prevention of abuse of free credits: if you received welcome credits or were referred, an irreversible fingerprint (HMAC) of your e-mail address and of your sign-up IP address, as well as your device's random identifier, are kept for 3 years, then erased automatically. They are used only to prevent the same person from obtaining the welcome credits or the referral reward several times.
  • Payments: records of your purchases are kept by Stripe or Google Play, and in our accounts for 10 years, in accordance with our legal obligations.
  • Technical logs: erased through automatic rotation, 12 months at most.
  • Backups: backup copies are erased no later than 30 days after deletion.
  • On your device: files saved for offline listening remain on your phone until the app is uninstalled or its data cleared; on the website, the offline cache can be cleared from your browser settings.

4. Before you delete

  • Unused credits will be lost: consider using them before deleting your account.
  • You may create a new account later with the same address, but it will contain neither your credits nor your library; if you had already received welcome credits or a referral reward, it will not entitle you to them again.
